Please join EWC for an evening of networking, tours AND receive a professional headshot (selection will be made from an online gallery) for your professional use on Monday, February 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This event will provide a great way for you to spend time with your colleagues from EWC and receive or update your professional business headshots. Whether it is a non-profit, a corporation, or a small business, professional photographs of the key people within the organization helps others get to know who they are going to do business with. In corporations and small businesses, they want to see the face behind the ideas of the products they are using or the service they are buying. In non-profits, people want to know who they are donating to and who is volunteering efforts. In addition, visitors to your website don’t read every word that is on the page. In fact, 79% of people scan a website and only 16% read websites word-for-word. However, 82% will pause longer on a photograph or graphic on a website, according to Neilsen. So, if you don’t have a headshot or it is older than two years, you are due for a new one. Whether using a professional photo on your website, within your email signature along with your company’s contact information, on social media and networking sites like Facebook and LinkedIn, on your business card, or within company marketing materials, a professional headshot conveys trust and professionalism to potential clients about you & your organization.
